Shobha Nagi Reddy, YSR Congress Party deputy floor leader was given a tearful farewell by thousands of her supporters in Allagadda on Friday. Her mortal remains were consigned to flames, later in the evening.
YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, honorary president YS Vijayamma, Sharmila, YS Bharathi were among these who attended her last rites.
A cloud of gloom descended on the entire Kurnool district as one of their beloved and dynamic leaders was laid to rest. The area was packed with her followers and YSRCP leaders. (Shobha Nagi Reddy's last interview)
Thousands of people cutting across party lines, caste or creed, witnessed the last rites of Shobha and paid tributes to the departed soul. The crowds had started gathering at her home, and many chose to walk alongside the hearse.
YS Jagan and his family members too were seen went on the vehicle for sometime.

Shobha was severely injured when her car overturned four times on Wednesday night as she was returning home after campaigning for Sharmila. Grievously injured in the accident she succumbed to her injuries on Thursday morning. She is survived by her husband, Bhuma Nagi Reddy, two daughters and a son.
