Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu does not seem to be very much bothered about the large scale agitation going on in the Seemandhra region in protest against the Centre’s move to divide Andhra Pradesh.
At a time when the entire Seemandhra region is on the boil, the TDP president is happily enjoying Iftar parties being hosted for Muslims on the occasion of Ramzan.
On Tuesday, Naidu threw a big Ifrat party for the Muslims at the Exhibition grounds, which was attended by hundreds of Muslims. Wearing a “topi,” Naidu shook hands with everybody and joined them in the evening prayers, before making them break their fast.
Well, the TDP president is not at all disturbed by the developments in Seemandhra. He has done his part by asking his party MPs and MLAs from Seemandhra to resign and their counterparts in Telangana to attack the Congress and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. And he has refrained from making any statement either for or against Telangana. So, he continues to remain neutral!
